    A girls best friend...

My son's girlfriend asked me to make her a quit for Christmas. She is an avid rider and shows her horses. She has to sell her horse this year to make money to go to university next year, so i thought i would quilt her a memory. This is the beginning of a portrait of her and her beloved horse.

Beautiful work. Lucky girl. You are a good person to gift her with this.

    Wow, really creative.

The horse's mane - was that effect achieved with fabric or thread stitching or yarn(3D)?
    It's amazing.
