    I love it - the colors, pattern, and fabrics are outstanding. Did this one win? The unserwater one blows me away too - are all the edges beaded, or was that done in paint or thread?

    I don't think this one won a ribbon - I just took pics of the ones that caught my attention. :D The 'underwater' one is very heavily beaded! I thought I had taken a close-up of it, but alas, nope. I checked the guild website (www.glendalequiltguild.org) but they don't have a list of this year's winners posted. I did find the winners from their 2006 show - at the top of the home page, put your mouse over "quilt show', then I think it says 2006 awards or winners - something like that. They have a nice slide show of those winners.

    wow, that one fabric in the leaves really pops out, doesn't it? Love it,

    gonna go check on the Glendale quilt show link. I live close enough to go but haven't in the past few years,

    I met Sue at the show and had an excellent time. She's as nice in person as she is on line! I'll post more pictures as soon as I can edit them and find them in the catalog (to give appropriate credit).

    We are standing in front of one of my favorites "For My New York Beauty" by Kris Klein. It was amazing and the backing was a New York scene. Very cool.
