I work in a dental office and my dentist just changed a room to a retro look, (orange clock, funky lamp, orange, purple, yellow, and shocking pink flowers. I wanted to add a wall hanging, but I am not sure what I created works... see photo... Do you think I should put a dividing strip between the blocks... be truthful , is there any hope ... I was going to add a border to calm it a bit... suggestions, and honestly appreciated.

What you're showing looks like it will work just fine as is in the room described. Funky!!

It definitely looks retro. What size is that? The navy and white strip is just the table you're laying it on, right? Looks great to me! and a border would be great . . . maybe even a black (or very dark brown) binding to "define" the edge and frame it. Great job of centering the flowers in the blocks, it'll give the patients something to look at while waiting.

It's nice this way, but if you want to, I think that a dividing strip would be good, too.

Don't 'calm' it down. If you really feel inclined to sashing, I'd use a black and white stripe. It's really a fun piece. Nice job! The navy blue and white stripe is good, but I think black and white would be jazzier.......and I'm thinking the navy and white stripe is just a background piece, but it looks good!

I love it. Reminds me of my "Love In", happy Hippy days of the 60's. Nice and colorful and it will definitely be a great conversation piece.
