I also have been inspired by debbie to reorganize my sewing area. I found this fabric at the bottom of one of my totes and think it *might* be good for an OBW. My DH got me the 60degree triangle for my birthday so I've been dying to try out an OBW.

I've got about 3 yards, maybe 4.

It's pretty fabric. I don't know what OBW is though.

One Block Wonder Think it depends on your repeats and what pattern you pick how many yards you need But I would say yes ones with black are usually very sharp and stunning

Yes, I think it would look fantastic as an OBW. What is the repeat length of it, doesn't look like a large repeat?

It would be very good. It looks like you have enough repeats. Would love to see pictures when you get it done.

without going upstairs to measure it again, offhand the repeats are 12"

So I've got the book, and I follow how to cut the repeats, but now how big would I cut my triangles? That's the one thing I'm really confused with.

If you have the ruler, you would line it up on the 3 1/2 inch line (I try to do a healthy 3 1/2). A 12 inch repeat will be fine, too, its going to look great!
