Default A good start on Hunters Star

Thank you to all who added to the discussion on the Hunters Star. I've admired the pattern for awhile. Through reading everyone's input, I decided to order the Deb Turners ruler from Amazon. I love PP but in this case went with a ruler. I have 20 blocks, 10" and plan on 100. I got to say I'm enjoying these blocks. Love the ruler. My sister made the Jenny Doan pattern. But this pattern is more of a true Hunters Star. I'll post a picture when I get it done.

Very nice to hear the ruler is working for you. I have been considering it, as otherwise, a hunter star quilt would be way too much paper peicing!

I've always liked the Hunter's Star too. I love the colors you are using.

Good decision to get the Deb Tucker ruler instead of paper piecing. Your colors are gorgeous!

Gail, it's going to be awesome from the looks of your fabrics. Can't wait to see it finished. Have fun!

Beautiful colors. ( You've probably noticed by now that the upper right block needs to be rotated... but just in case...) Can't wait to see it finished!

I love the work you are doing. Do those squares equal 10" or is each square 10". It is beautiful.
