Our guild makes a quilt every year to be given to a local graduate. This is the one we made this year. It is called "Summertime Star" and is a fun quilt to make as a group. Everyone in the guild donated 5 FQ and 3 of us "auditioned" fabric and put each block kit together. The guild took one day to make all of the blocks and put them together. I took the quilt home and put the borders on, another member quilted it and another member put the binding on. We put all of the graduates name in a hat and draw out a lucky winner. We will present the quilt to the winner next Monday.
