Two of my grandson's were H.S. graduates in May. I made quilts for them. One boy wants to be a park ranger, so I designed his quilt with the fish; trees, birds (flying geese) etc, following the outdoor theme. I had it customed long-armed quilted. She did a wonderful job adding stitching that enhansed the blocks.
The other quilt is called Bachelor's Puzzle. I got it from a book--his Mom found it and thought he would like it. It is quilted with an all over quilting pattern (machine done.)

They're both really wonderful quilts moreland! Blues always look sharp and lively and I love that pattern you used as well as the gold for contrast. Very pretty!! And I think it's wonderful that you did a "theme" quilt for the young man who wants to be a park ranger. The quilt you made him is so appropriate. Good job on both of them.

Wow!! Those are both really beautiful. The blues & black & gold look really neat the way you used them in the pattern. The quilt with the fish & trees is wonderful. I'm sure they will treasure them!

Thank you--I wish I could take credit for the colors but I had some wonderful help from the local Quilt Shop to get the colors right. (Didn't have any trouble with the black :D !)
