    Red face Grandaughters quilt

    Name: IMG_0062 ashleys quilt.jpg
Views: 1402
Size: 151.5 KB This is my third quilt, it is for 10 year old grandaughter. I let her pick materials.
I also found some material with beautiful butterflies on it, and cut them out, and padded them, with batting before sewing on the quilt. It gives the butterflies a 3-D effect. Am very pleased with the way it turned out. Got lots of good advice from everyones suggestions. thanks lots

Oh I love it, butterflies are my favourite. I like the idea of cutting them out of a piece of butterfly fabric. She is a very lucky girl to have a grandmother to make her such a beautiful quilt.
