My DG finally finished her quilt! (gramma can't take good pictures!) She pieced all the blocks and even helped on the quilting machine. I helped with the ironing and the binding!
She's SOOOO proud of it! She even slept in it before I could get a good picture!

on edit: I forgot to mention...the quilt is a kit called Park Place from Pine Tree Country Quilts. Designed by Deborah Mosa. It was on the front cover of the May 2010 issue of The Quilter Magazine. :-D

Beautiful! both GD and quilt, she did an outstanding job, I love the colors as well as the design. Tell her great job for me! You know she will remember this time for years to come , I was taught to crochet by a great aunt about fourty years ago, of course she is long gone but I can still remember sitting by her side as she patiently taught me to crochet and embroider. I am so glad to see the young ones getting interested in crafting.

You are blessed to have such a sweet, gentle granddaughter who already shares your interests. She's pretty in more than just her appearance; she has a kind heart, too.

What a beautiful quilt, and she obviously loves it. I'd say her hobby is going to be quilting when she grows up!
