Each summer, when any of my grandchildren have turned 13, they spend about a week with me, and we do some very intensive sewing. I have the pieces cut, and they sew with my supervision, and go home with a quilt that they have put together.

This is the 6th grandchild, and we got started Monday about 10 am, and today is Tuesday, at 630 pm and the top is all sewn together.

Tomorrow, we will clean off my dining room table and put it together with the batting and the fleece that is in the lower right hand corner, and then I have to get to work, quilting it. I just do SID on my Bernina. The blocks are 12 square and is approximately 70 x 90. It could take a day or so.

You can tell that she likes purple.
