This is a Simplicity "Project Runway" pattern I made for my GD. I used a Laurel Burch Butterfly fabric for the main part, then some colorful flower coordinates. The quilter in me seems to come out even in clothing. Have to use those coordinating fabrics!

Sent the pic to my daughter and her only comment was,"My, isn't that.........colorful!" Hopefully GD will love it. She's getting it Saturday.

I think that it is cute. I love the bright and funky color combos. I like the style of the dress too. Wish my daughter could still wear the girls size clothes.

My grandaughter is 7 and she would be thrilled with that dress as long as she had a pair of hot pink leggings underneath.
That is the only way she will wear a dress these days!

I think it is super cute! I know my six year old would go CRAZY over it! I might have to break down and make her a couple dresses.

I love it. It is bright and colorful and that is just what my DGD loves in clothes. Great job.
