    Default Granddaughter's Wedding Quilt

Quilt I made for my granddaughter's wedding gift. She picked the pattern and material and I took it from there. All the applique is done by hand. Now I'm thinking I should have done it by machine. I even used yellow color stones for the iris centers. All the quilting was also done by hand on the king size quilt. Not sure if you can see the hand quilting on the side. I don't think I will hand quilt another king size quilt. Very hard on the hands. But they loved it!

Thank you. No, I didn't design it myself. I purchased the pattern from StoryQuilts.com. The name of the pattern is Iris Pathway by Helene Knott. It's actually a wall hanging that I turned into a king size quilt.
