Default Grandma's Strippy 1930's reproduction

I have been several years in the piecing of this top just for me. Had a tiny block of time the other day as our roadway was being oiled, keeping me at home and customers at bay, so I loaded up this top and played all day. Using Hobbs 80/20 batting, white thread and quilting with terry twist and feathers - what a great day!! I stitched the binding to the front before I removed it from my Gammill (no computer nor stitch regulator) so now all I need to do is hand stitch the binding down on the back. Hope you enjoy!

So nice that you got to finish one for yourself. I have 2 to finish up for Xmas and then I plan on making/finishing some quilts for me.

Beautiful quilt....love the colors of fabric that you used. Your quilting really sets off the blocks. Great job!

This is very beautiful. Hope you don't get trapped in your house again soon.
But the out come was well worth it.
