One of my favorite blocks in Grandmother's Fan. I love using paisley fabric in the fan blades and borders. I made the Irish Chain for my Dad. It is a simple design, but one that so many folks like.

I am going to make another Grandmother's Fan quilt with a yellow paisley - but have 4 other quilts to make for family and friends first...sigh!

I love using black in a quilt. It is hand quilted

All three are so beautiful but I really love the first one with the purple fabric! Beautiful work!! :)

I wish I could, but the quilt is with a new owner. I used a fan quilting template for the design on the white squares.
