This quilt has been in the making for one year now and is finally done. This is the first quilt that I have made since my Mom died 17 years ago. Quilting was our thing and I just stopped when she passed. I’m so glad I decided to start again (thank you Donna for all your encouragement). This quilt is an Eleanor Burns pattern and was all hand appliquéd and quilted. It will be a gift to my daughter in time, but first I will need to make a quilt for each of her three brothers. It may be a while before she gets it. :)

That is such a unique (in a great way!) quilt. I have not seen another quilt like it. I love it.

Your quilt is simply STUNNING!! As a hand quilter and hand applique'er (like that word?), I appreciate every stitch that went into that quilt!! Your daughter will be one very lucky lady-You were meant to quilt-and I am sure your Mother is smiling down on you and glad to started again!

Your quilt is lovely. Good for you to get back to quilting. Keep on stitching:thumbup:
I have the book but never made it. The video for making the quilt was just posted on http://vimeo.com/28384967.
