I used a blanket stitch with silk thread to catch most of the edges. Anything that has dimension was left alone.

It's one of those "Quilt in a Day" patterns. Ha ha. More like a block in a day in my world! :D

I'll try to take better pictures tomorrow so that you can see the dimension.

oh thank you for showing these. they are all beautiful. i have been too chicken to try them. are they hard? how long did it take to make one?

Oh ok, I see that now. I keep going back up for a closer look. I see the blanket stitch now, and I can see the dimension better too now that I know what I'm looking for. Those are just so pretty!
