I've just got the first 6 squares done of Eleanor Burns' Grandmother's Garden.

Daffodil

QuiltinLee Your applique is exquisite! I especially like the three dimentional look of that last one. That's going to be so pretty when it's done!

They're all 4-D. It's hard to see on the pictures.

And best of all, they're NOT appliqued!! The pieces are almost all put on with fusible interfacing then stuffed!

I type slower than you do!! 4-D double wow!!! LOL In that case I like the daffodil the best. But they're all very very beautiful!

Wow, even taking a second (and third) look, it's hard to see it on the first ones. I wouldn't have guessed they were simply fused on there and stuffed. Looks like you spent months taking teeny tiny stitches. Are you planning to secure them any other way than the fuse, such as a blanket stitch or whatever?
