These two pictures show my first hand quilting stitches I did in 1990 and what I do today. I just want to encourage all of you hand quilters who struggle with themselves at their first attempts! You see how practicing will change the result.

Thank you for your encouragement. I love hand quilting too. But, I need to do it more frequently. Only if work, and housework didn't get in the way.

Thanks, really appreciate this post...as I mentioned in the other post about handquilting, it is often difficult to find an example of other people's handwork. Yours is exquisite....

My biggest problem when starting out was getting the tension right, but I think I'm getting better...maybe another 20 years and I might be ok!
