I asked my great niece, Cassie, if she would like a quilt and she said yes. (My mom is the quilter in the family and has not made her one) She has a bunk bed so I was thinking twin size which I could handle. Her favorite color is purple and she likes lime green. I told her to pick out some FQs for her quilt. When I saw the FQs I said, if Nana (her Great Grandma) was here she would tell you that those colors don't match! She said, I know Auntie Cris but I like them! My niece later suggested that the quilt be made for a full/queen cuz she was growing out of the bunk bed. So with the help of my Mom, here is the top! Pattern is Carousel in the Cozy Modern Quilts book by Kim Schaefer. I may need a La'er cuz I don't know if I can SITD on this one!!!!

Well she must have an eye for colour because those colours are opposite on the colour wheel so they go well together. You have done a great job with it and I'm sure she will love it.

Love it! Very happy quilt! I'm just curious as to what type of black fabric you choose? I love a little black in a quilt for accent, but I'm always afraid it will fade over time.

    Thanks!
    Susie
