I was looking for something to make for one of my baseball mother friends. We hang out 4 days a week at either games or practice and she got me a set of pictures of Emi including a magazine cover, since I didn't ordered any. I just took my own pictures during the games.

My friend loves sunflowers. My daughter mentioned she had seen an image on line. She thought it was a quilt, but it could have been something else. The way she described it was a full sunflower on the top row and a half one plus a quarter one on the bottom row. We drafted it on paper and this is what I came up with.

Some petals are made with translucent ribbon and tulle.
