Here's a little something I made for DD's BD in early October. She had originally picked this fabric and a quilt pattern from prevously discussed "Quick Rotary Cutter Quilts" (not quick/not easy!). I told her that it really wouldn't happen . . . but I'd make her something else. The flower blocks are actually a part of a block from that book, though.

Yes the cat in the quick rotory cutter quilts book does look a bit complex doesn't it? How did you find the flowers though? The instructions for them always looked more complicated to me then the cat. Yours turned out picture perfect.

The flower blocks are the ones I used from the book. The cat is a paper pieced block I found online. The directions for one of the flower stems called for the wrong size piece. That threw me for more than a few minutes!
