Default Habitat for Humanity-Donation Quilt

I made this quilt as a donation for a home that my employer will help build next week. I wanted to participate by swinging a needle versus a hammer. I used the tumbler template from Missouri Star Quilt, added a simple border and quilted around the blocks. Simple and quick. I didn't expect to fall in love with it, but I did. The blocks are blue, white & yellow, border a deep green. The pictures are pale compared to the intensity of the fabric colors.

What a lovely gift for the new home owners! They will be thrilled-its a beautiful quilt! I added a large label to the back of a quilt I gave our last HFH homeownes-everyone who worked on the house signed the block....

What a great idea! I did not even think about quilts for Habitat. My son, sister & father have all done builds in Romania, Zambia, Hungary & Thailand but I could never join them. What a lovely way to contribute to the new home. I really like your quilt & the idea of the build team signing makes it even more special! So neat!
