This quilt I made 6 years ago for an exhibition in a museum. The house was built at the beginning of the 18th century and the ceiling beams in it are quite big so we only could hang quilts not wider that a metre (40 inch). But they could be longer! I made three quilts in that longish size for the exhibition. For this one I used just half of a complete wholecloth design- just for fun!

That is beautiful. Do you do all hand quilting? When you do a whole-cloth quilt in a color, do you match your thread to the fabric or do you use white? Just amazing work!

Here you go again! You like to keep me hypnotized!!!!! Your work is so very beautiful it puts me in a trance. To think you do the stitching by hand is so amazing. You say it seems natural to you. Because you have done the stitching so magnificently for so long do you now take your talent for granted or does it entrance you the way it does me?
For those who see your post and do not know please say in your posts or avatar signature that you hand pieced them.
You have given me a beautiful image for my mind to enjoy as I go about my day. Thank you once more for sharing the beauty with us.
Regards, Dorothy
