Halloweenie Wallhanging - made in an afternoon.
#1
I 'still' do not consider myself a quilter by any means, but was looking at my halloween fabrics aquired over the past couple of years yesterday afternoon and decided I needed to stitch something.
I started at 2pm with part of a panel and finished at 11:45pm. This is what I was screaming for help with at 10pm for help with how to make bias binding.
Also, considering that we dont celebrate Halloween here, I just like the funky silly bit of it all.
Thanks for your help with the bias binding. I'm so pleased how this turned out

I have had several fabric swaps over the years with some lovely ladies in the US - I've swapped australiana fabric for Halloween Fabric. Last year, somebody sent me the panel - there are several more motifs left, I'm planning just to back them, stuff them and hang them from my halloween ornament tree.
This year, a lady on a stitchy message board asked if there was anything she could bring to australia - I sent her $20US folding cash (collected over the past couple of years) and she brought me back halloween and christmas fabric - I worked it out to what would be about $200aust in value.
