Hi Everyone!

I am just so dog-gone excited to try this new thread holder my brother made for me. He just delivered it today while visiting for lunch.

I had asked him a couple weeks ago to make something to hold my thread while machine embroidering. I was holding the thread in a glass and that worked ok for a while and then it would break the thread at some unexpected moment. So I was frustrated with the embroidering.

It isn't tried out yet... but, it looks perfect to me.

God bless brothers!

Walnut hardwood thread holder...

He is just a year older than me and has always been my male twin... LOL! Not really but, he is always making something. (mostly race and historic cars.)

We are pretty close as far as families go. Four of us live here in the Reno area. It sure makes it fun during the holidays.

Really nice! I need something like that for my Sidewinder to avoid the spool jumping off the peg that keeps collapsing.

Love the copper, but did you have to spray it with lacquer to make sure it won't, down the road, turn your thread green? Sure is pretty!
