This is lovely. I have a ton of vintage hankies that were to pretty to toss.

It's lovely and I'm sure your MIL will love it! I've seen those on the blog and would like to make 1 one day. I think about all the beautiful handkerchiefs we used to give my grandmother when I was a girl. She wouldn't use them and said she was saving them for a special occasion. I remember her taking some of them out of hiding one day and some had dry rotted! Made me know that I will use EVERYTHING I own. Wish I had some of those now to make a quilt as beautiful as yours!
