    Nice idea! I have a colllection of hankies from my great grandmother..... how do you clean them before using them in a quilt?

    coachmatthewsvhs,

    I just washed them in the washing machine in cold water with a little regular laundry detergent. After that, they all needed ironing! But for the most part, they did just fine.
