Default Happy Flowers

Kay brought me this very happy top to be quilted. It is an older top owned by a friend of Kay's. This friend wanted borders added so Kay found just the perfect happy faced flower fabric and added it for the borders. We wanted to keep the quilting simple but also needed to reinforce some of the seams so chose a wiggly stitch over all the seams. Then outlined the flowers with the same wiggly stitch and finished the borders with the wiggly stitch. In fact I just wiggled all I wanted to on this happy quilt.

It is a beautiful quilt. You did wonderful quilting. She was so lucky to find the border print that went with it so well.

It is a terrific quilt! I think your choice of the wiggly stitch was inspired! It accomplished the reinforcement of the seams, and it sort of echoed the shapes of the flowers. Great job.
