Default A happy, happy quilter!!!

We spent the morning exploring estate and garage sales and ran into a couple of fantastic fabric deals! I bought part of what is pictured below at an estate sale and part at a garage sale, for a total of 29+ yards of fabric, plus the extra pieces already cut that were in several separate baggies! Some of the pieces are quite large, with one being 6 yards, another at 5 yards and some at 2 1/2 yards.

If I were to just average it out at about $7 a yard it would all come to over $200, not counting the extra pre-cut pieces!

ALL of this for a grand total of only $10.

I'm a happy camper...er...quilter! lol

Very lucky. Here in Tasmania I hardly ever see fabric suitable for quilting at garage sales or op shops.

Funny, Terri! lol You're probably right, since DH actually ASKS for fabrics and machines, etc, when we arrive at each and every sale. lol
