That gorgeous quilt puts my t-shirt quilts to shame. I love the appliqued logos.

I have never seen such an awesome t-shirt quilt. Can you give some tips on how you applique t-shirts? Thanks.

Me too. I have never learned to applique the right way.

Oh WOW! Applique would be so much easier than sewing and sashing. I never even thought of that and I used to applique things onto tee shirts and sweatshirts all the time. Did you use Wonder-Under?

This is why this board is so great. So many ideas to draw on. Thanks for the pictures.

Thanks for all the nice compliments! :-)

I need to clarify how the quilt was put together. It isn't appliqued. Each of the t-shirts has the Harley-Davidson logo screen printed on it. What I did was iron the interfacing on the back side of the front part of the t-shirt, cut the t-shirt so I had a 15 1/2" block and then sewed sashing strips around each one. I hope I am explaining this correctly! It was actually pretty easy and no applique was involved.

Please let me know if you have any more questions! I would love to help you all!

There is an explanation over in the Main section under Anybody done a t-shirt quilt??? HTH!

I promised to let everyone know how the Harley Davidson quilt did at the BAD ride auction! I had a phone call yesterday from the lady that had me make the quilt and she had great news! The quilt was auctioned off for $1350 and all proceeds went to diabetes research! :D
