What a great idea. I will have to look for those sheets. Both my husband and my youngest son have Harleys.
You are doing a great job.

Thanks ladies!! It's tough going definately...but your support makes it a little easier!!

Thank you for fixing the picture Amma!! I didn't realize it wasn't in the right format!!

I got the sheets from JCPenny.com for about $40.

Happy quilting all!!

I made my son a Harley quilt two years ago and it was from his T-shirts. I also used some bandanas, some of his club emblems, pockets from his shirts and even his wife's T's and still had a couple of his nieces' little shirts., so I used them also. My favorite block was that of his niece's little denim Harley pocket book.
I sewed only the front of the purse on the block and then added the purse's flap and shortened the shoulder strap and sewed that on in a curve. Godd place to hide something as the purse still opens and closes.

My blocks ranged from 4"x4" to 16"x16" and all in between............

It was a challenge to say the least....I couldn't have completed it without the help of hubby.

good luck on yours.....my son was thrilled with his and I know that your boyfriend will be likewise.
