Default Heart Shaped Logcabin Lap Quilts

We have a couple who have been our overseers in our area but will be transferred to a new area to minister in September. Here are a couple of lap quilts to send them on their way. The pattern was for a larger quilt and each color used only a fat quarter. I cut from my stash and just cut 18" across the fabric so twice as much as I needed. Decided not to waste the fabrics so made 2 sets, one set for the overseers and the other for an older couple I know in my old congregation down in Florida. Just finished washing/drying them and very little to no bleeding........Boy was that a relief as some were batiks and I don't wash before I use them.

Hope they like them...................

I've never seen that pattern before. Kinda like a bargello, but not exactly. Nice!
