Default help with border selection please!

I'm trying to decide which fabric if any of these to use as a border for my parents quilt for Christmas. Please help!

Very pretty! I like the last one. Gold/yellow small border and leaf/bird larger border.

I think the green will help anchor the whole thing. Beautiful quilt.

Beautiful! What ever you decide will be great! However I like the last one best.

The ones in the last picture. If you want it to really pop, use a small but bright Orange say 1.5" and then the ones in the last pic

The last picture with the narrow yellow border really is my favorite!

My initial thought is to bring the blue and grey from the birds to the border with some of the green. I don't know how much of a border you need, but I am thinking along the line of a narrow strip (2-3") of blue, a wider strip (4-5") of the green, and then the charcoal grey (black or white would work too) for the binding. ??? I think you have a lot of yellow and red in the quilt so you don't need to emphasize them more. Bring out some of the lesser colors to make them pop! Do you have some colors available to show us?

I'm sorry, I see what you're doing. Personally, I like the green, and I like the idea of the yellow with the birds, but I wouldn't go too wide on the birds. I would go yellow then green.

Very pretty quilt. How about a small gold, larger green then the largest bird print. Maybe like the last picture but only with the green then the bird print. Will look forward to seeing what you decide to do. BrendaK
