Default New Member in South Texas--Blue Jean Quilt

My aunt gave me a trunk full of old jeans-2 moves ago-
The cotton fabrics inspired the idea for finally using them.

Love it! My floor is covered in old jeans right now. Being married to a farmer equals lots of “free” fabric!

That's a great looking quilt & it's great to see you using up the old jeans & making them into something new. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome to the QB! Your quilt looks like a lot of fun. Reminded me I have been collecting old blue jeans now for 20 years in the hope of making bags and a quilt.

A warm welcome from Southern Indiana! I keep thinking I'm going to make a jeans quilt...but guess I'll just keep thinking because I don't have a source for jeans...and sure don't need any more fabric! Love yours though.....

Love your quilt. My friend and I have been cutting up jeans for rag quilts and I am working on one for my grandson. I am enjoying working on the rag quilt. I really like how you added other fabrics to your denim jean fabrics. You did a great job

I like that! i just gave away a whole bag of denim squares and some i'd sewn together for a rag quilt. I got out of the mood quickly.
