I don't know what to do with the borders... Ideas please.
One thing I thought was to put piping of dark purple and then the outside border.

This pattern is a Buggy Barn pattern, I will quilt it and then put Yo Yo's in the center of the flowers, each flower is different as I really didn't know what I was doing with this pattern. But I enjoyed it so much. My Granddaughter Jeanette keeps saying to me, Grandma, when are you going to stop quilting for everyone and finish my quilt.

Yes, I have sewn the entire quilt on the treadle, and enjoyed the Packer game too.

I like your idea of the dark purple piping. Very creative of you.

the pattern called for checker board black/white for the sashing, I like this better, but I need to frame these purses.
Thanks for any help!

Too cute! I like the dark purple stopper strip then a border more in keeping with the genre of the quilt that black and white checks. I'm working on a piano key one right now, but any of your pretty pastels would work or stripes of several of them.
