i have made this piece, it is laid out on my bed do i lieve it as is or do i add lots of borders to make it into a big quilt lieving the panel as a centre piece, i don't have much material left from the topper as it was all made out of the little scraps i bought at the op shop

It looks like its about the size of a baby quilt? What are you going to use if for? If you want a lap quilt I would add more fabric. If you don't have enough of what you've already used you could pull out another color?

i was thinking to make it a double bed size I have stacks of material just not much more of what I have used, or just finish it of and have it as a quilt to put on the couch
thought I might give it to my DD

Guess I'm tired.on a closer look I see it is laying on top of another quilt. I would add more borders.

Since you have a dark burgundy border, try the next border a bit wider in a light blue! Then white maybe after that. Bind in black.

You could use more scraps to make blocks, add those to your red boarder, then put another solid boarder around it. That may make it the size you want.
