i making this for the church to raffle hope it nice to raffle off i put it on my bed put the boards to tie it off it faster this way but make sure you pin on the edges so that they bet tight on both back and front so you don't have bunch up . i use my bed cause i don't have a table to do it this is the same way to do basting i figure it be nice to tie off

this is how it work i use my bed

The more I see the string quilts, the more I like them! I am planning on making one for our bed and was thinking about tying it but wasn't sure how it would look... thanks for the visual!

Neat set up, too! Do you put anything underneath it so you don't tie it to the bed, or is that just something I would do?? ;) ha ha!

yes i got a table leaf and a small table with a board on top of it so it will match the side of the table leaf i want to later get a board to fit my bed it be a lot easier
