Default Here is what my Daughters and I are getting for Mother's Day

This is the small version of the Hobo bag pattern. Just finished these a few minutes ago. Hope my Daughters like them.

Love, love, love them. If your girls don't like them, I'll send you my address. Happy Mom's day

Me, too! Those are very cute. They could find a home very fast around here. I'm betting your girls snap them up in a second.

I thought the directions needed a bit of tweeking. I will make them different than they show with the top band part. I will add 1/2 inch to the width of the strip and I also put the strap in then sewed it down while the purse is still flat. The directions show to thread it though with a pin. It isn't large enough to fit through and the fabric won't slid. So that was how I fixed that. It does take quite a while to make these. You have to make tubes like bias stirps, with batting in between and then zig zag them together. A ton of work but I think they turned out cute.

Those are gorgeous and they will love them.

I am making me an old fashioned chocolate cake with chocolate icing, from scratch. No cake mix for me and no pre-made icing.
