Well here I am trying to make a quilt for my BFF daughter who is graduating in May with a Construction Management degree. I originally thought I would make a D9P but then thought it would be too busy. I dont know if I am happy with this Shadowbox but now it is too late to change. I put the pieces on my design board so they are not sewn together. Sashing will be in between and it is the light brown. So please tell me what you think.

I love the shadowbox look and am looking forward to the finished quilt. She will be very happy with it, I am sure.

I'm thinking it's great. I can't wait to see it finished.

All of the prints are busy enough that the simple shadow boxes really help them stand out! Don't change a thing. It's always so much more fun when you know that the quilt is for /you/ and there's simply no 'shadow' of a doubt. ;)
