Hexagon Quilt
#1
Attached are the pictures of my Hexagon quilt. I love these fabric. I came upon a problem when putting the hexagon together. My cream /off-white fabric is too THIN. I decided that since I've already put this much time into this, I might as well make it perfect. I ripped it apart, found myself a better quality cream/off white fabric. Now, I'm back to the drawback board.
Here's what it looks like before I rip it away.

Oh, I like it very much. I am really into hex's right now, sense I am also doing a hex qult. Grandmothers Flower Garden. I think "unsewing" those hex's is more work than the sewing! Good luck on this beautiful quilt!

for you hexigons are you using the thick plastic inserts that you wrap fabric around then use a long running stitch to keep the shape and sew together? The thick plastic inserts then pop out.
That is what I used in my icon piece. Your fabric choices are great! This is such a fun quilt top to do. I have so much trouble finishing the thing. It is still a WIP .. I need to add filler and backing then binding.. What are you doing about the edges?
Love your piece of work !
