    I really like those hexi blocks. Is there a pattern or did you design it?

    Measure one side of the hexagon. Add 1/2" to the measurement and make your 60 degree triangle that size on the sides. Sew the triangles on two sides..opposite as pictured. Ez.

    I was "inspired" by a pattern. But I did not like their instructions. Too many steps. Too many little cuts-pieces.

    I did not care for their ruler either. So I figured it out on my own.

    Why make a half hexi? Just put the rows together...staggering the hexi...then square it up! Allow for the 1/4" seam on the edges for the binding.
