Default Hexie whatchamacallit

I guess not technically a quilt, no batting, the hexies are hand sewn, then machine sewn onto white fabric, then machine sewn onto minkee, then machine binded, sooooo call it whatever you like! It is a wedding gift for my youngest son and his bride to be married November 1st. If they don't like it, I'll take it back! LOL! Posted it before asking for suggestions for borders, so it may look familiar to some of ya'll!

Not sure why, but on my computer screen, looks like some purple spots on the minkee and at the bottom on the front, even went and got it back out to check, no spots! Did use a glue stick that is purple, then dries clear, maybe I'm seeing things?! LOL! Wouldn't surprise me!

I see the purple spots in the first picture, but would agree that they are glue stick spots. That is a beautiful work you did with the hexies and Minkee! That beauty will work anywhere. They'll love it, so you probably won't be getting it back.

Yes, it's what we folks here in the south call "A Summer Quilt." It's Beautiful.
