Congratulations. She did a great job. I hope you live close enough together that you can keep on sewing together. Make sure she wraps the ornament and labels the package as well as the ornament so it will stay nice for years to come. Wouldn't it be great if you and she could someday show her daughter or son how mom got started sewing.,Now on to sewing clothes and quilting -- one for practicality and one for the soul. Joyce in DE

No dgk's to teach yet. The 2 yr old isn't quite ready yet. Maybe next yr! Lol. I figure a couple of years more and then we'll sew together. Can't wait. On the upside, my younger son loved to sew. He has made costumes for plays, etc. the first project was very touching. His favorite great aunt was in the hospital with throat cancer. He made a square of cloth that he used fancy stitches on and wrote "i love you". She held. It i her hand and could feel. The raised letters. Of course, he signed it. After she passed it was returned to him.she loved him especially, too.
Your dgd did a wonderful job! Yay! Another hand quilter.
