Default Hexies in the Hospital (excuse to show baby photo)

My 4th daughter went into labor late Friday night. Scarlett was born 7:10 Sunday morning. So I had little time for some hexies. I was teasing her Saturday that I had 6 flowers made did she think I could make 2 more before the baby was born. I got 12 made. It was a looooong night.

Love those hexies, and Scarlet is beautiful! I can relate to the long labor 2x, and all very much worth it. Your 'Labor of Love' quilt will also be beautiful!

Ahhhh such a cutie! I'm waiting for two new grandsons, one in 2 weeks and one in July. Maybe I should get some of those hexies started too. Your choice of fabrics is really nice. What will you be doing with them? Do you need to make a lot. One of my quilting buddies has started making tons of hexies and says she needs 8000 of them for what she wants to do. She figures she'll be done in 14 years. Hope yours doesn't take that long. But then again, with a new grandchild, it just might. Enjoy!!!!!
