I found the pattern for $7.00 at Creative Quilt Kits. Thank goodness that is affordable for me.

Betty Jo,
The pattern has you piece the pineapple block on muslin or thermolam. I used thermolam. then you place the back of the place mat and pineapple block right sides together, stitch leaving an opening to turn it right side out. I trimmed the thermolam at the corners and was very happy that the corners came out OK.
