Look what a friend gave me yesterday - wooden mini spools of Silk Thread. Each one has 10 yards. I don't know how old they are, but I'm going to display them in a large jar!

If you hand-applique, silk thread is fantastic for invisible stitching-I love it! If it is in good condition, you scored! I paid $5.00 per SMALL spool of silk applique thread a few years ago!

But, it will look good in a big jar, too!

I have some too - not nearly as many as you. I have mine decorating my sewing room. I have them in a large Mason jar. A lid keeps the dust off too. Pretty.
