    Default Home Tweet Home - Done

    This is for my MIL and FIL for Christmas. It's intended to be a lap blanket. She loves birdhouses and these are some of the colors in their home. About 1/2 of this is scraps. I used flannel on the back and did SID for the quilting. I was going to use FMQ for the 1st time on this one, but chickened out. Maybe the next one. It measures 44" x 44". I'm so glad to be done with this blanket. It's the Little Flyer pattern by Alex Anderson. In the end I don't know if I'd use this pattern again. Since I was using scraps and it's all such small pieces I didn't starch my fabrics, which is one reason I had a hard time making all the strips line up.

    No critique from me, I think you did a great job. I'm sure they will both love it. Your points look good and that's half the battle.
