Yummy eye candy Deb! Love the outer background fill you used. Did you use Renae's rays to draft your circles?

Beautiful ! It gives me hope for my quilts. What was the course and would you recommend it?

I took Design it, Quilt it. She does her work on a domestic machine, I am on a longarmer. She teaches the basics, then feathers and backgrounds, and how to look at a stencil and design with parts of it. She shows you how to take something overwhelming and put it into smaller pieces and deal with those smaller pieces. I have wanted to do a wholecloth for so many years now but the thought was overwhelming to design one.

There is the KISS rule, Keep it simple stupid. She doesn't say that but she follows it.

I have taken other craftsy classes but this one is one that a experienced beginner would benefit from as well as totally experienced quilters.

So the class teaches both quilting patterns such as feathers and backgrounds and designing a wholecloth to hold those wonderful quilting elements. She just made it so easy.
