if any of you remember, i made one of these and gave it to my cousin. then she emailed me to make her 2 more for xmas. here is the first one. what do you think? it is a big kid size, sort of a coverlet for a twin.

I love it ...it's so cheerful!....I have yet to tackle a cathedral windows pattern... but I will one of these days !

Very graphic. I'm guessing it is for a boy with all the critters on it. Looks great. I may have to try one of these "someday".
My grandma made a cathedral window many years ago. It was amazing how heavy it was considering that it isn't really a "quilt" since it has no batting in it. I think my cousin gets it when grandma dies since it should have gone to her mother. Oh well, maybe I'll get a different one. I should ask to see them and let her know which one I would like to have and maybe she'll put my name on it!
