I keep coming back to look at this again. It is awesome work! Did you do the thread painting by machine or by hand? The white on the owl--is it material or thread? It is just amazing.

All the stitching was done by hand. The "white" is actually gray. We couldn't use white or black in the challenge. It is fabric with embroidery floss over it to get the feathery effect. Thanks for the compliments.
